I was not sure what to expect when I began reading, Soul of the City. I was not sure I could connect with the theme. However, I soon discovered that we all live in a big city, for we all have times of chaos in our lives. I could relate to Marcy Heidish’s message. Many times when I have heard a siren, I have stopped to pray. There are many times when I have felt the hustle and bustle of life pulling me down, and I have had to seek a quiet spot in the midst of all that is around me. Heidish purports true prayer, sincere prayer that comes out of our soul. She also expresses the need for sincere worship. Our Lord is everywhere, and we can worship anywhere. Christians will enjoy Soul of the City. |
